We found the itinerary, campsites and company superb, all enhanced in the enjoyment by Andy and Rebecca who have a deft touch in ensuring all runs smoothly. We cannot speak highly enough of how welcoming they were while allowing you to enjoy your own holiday. It has opened our horizons to an area we would never have considered visiting. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this holiday.

Will and Angela, Essex

We are still travelling after an amazing tour. As you must be well aware, Andy and Rebecca were exceptional tour leaders. Very well organized, friendly and professional. We couldn't have wished for better.

Nicola and Ian, Yorkshire

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, thank you. The group as a whole were great and we have made some long term friendships. Rebecca and Andy were great tour leaders, very welcoming and their organisational skills were terrific, arrival at each site was made very easy for everyone and from discussions with some of the other couples with the larger vans, this was very much appreciated and took a lot of stress out when arriving to each site. The highlight of the tour was Lake Bled, it is a beautiful place with so much to do, we would have loved to have stayed there longer! We were impressed by on site facilities at a lot of the sites, including some lovely restaurants and location wise, it was easy to get to places via walking cycling or local transport.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Paula and Brian, Nottinghamshire

Brian and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rebecca and Andy as tour guides. Slovenia is a beautiful area to visit with lakes and mountains and we particularly enjoyed the Postojna caves. Lake Bled is stunning as are the Plitvice lakes. Both capital cities didn’t disappoint and were well worth visiting.

Sue and Steve, Llangollen

Well where do we start it was the most amazing holiday and we met some fabulous friends along the way. Ian and Linda went above and beyond making everything fab all the info they gave us as we are new to motor homes holidays and just loved France.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Geoff and Alison, Cheshire

We would just like to say what a fantastic trip this was with you, everything was well organised and planned. The rest of the tour group were great company, everyone gelled and we had lots of laughs and fun. Ian and Linda were excellent tour hosts and went out of there way to go the extra mile and help with any problems.

A most enjoyable tour,. Must say our tour leaders Colin and Sue were very knowledgeable and friendly.
Looking forward to The Grand Tour of France in May 2025.

Carolyn and Mike, Gloucestershire

We greatly enjoyed the tour, thank you. Rebecca and Andy were outstanding as tour leaders, striking the right balance between being present and available whilst giving us all space, plus being such lovely, helpful and friendly people. They are a great asset to the Crossings Team. All of the sites were good in their own way, well selected for location and facilities. Overall the tour was a super experience and it has given us greater confidence to undertake more European adventures in our motorhome.

Good group. Lovely time. Colin and Sue were great.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Sue and Kevin, Worcestershire

Firstly we must say what excellent and hard working tour leaders Ian and Linda were which made the tour so much nicer and although the weather was not great we still enjoyed the trip and met some lovely like minded people as well, driving through the fabulous countryside in the Provence area and the wonderful winding roads of the gorges was just great and we have lots of stunning photos of these areas, not forgetting Kev's favourite place Beaune where he purchased the best wine that he has ever drunk ! All in all a great holiday and we look forward to touring with you again in the future.

Barry and Rita, Shropshire

We had a great time in France...made special by Colin and Sue as leaders and a wonderful group of fellow travellers. It has been a joy travelling with Crossings, your attention to detail and exceptional professional approach made us relaxed at the outset in spite of being novices to motorhoming and travel outside UK.
We look forward to enjoying new adventures with you.

Mike & Heather, Derbyshire

As first timers with Crossings we were somewhat apprehensive ahead of the trip, but I'm pleased to say that just about everything surpassed our expectations We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend it to others. We were immediately impressed at just how many of the group had previously holiday'ed with Crossings - a great advert in itself. Nothing was too much trouble for Linda & Ian, who had a gadget/spare part for every eventuality.

Mark and Muriel, Warwickshire

A fabulous tour! The tour leaders Ian & Linda were excellent - very friendly, knowledgeable, & extremely well- organised. We enjoyed the organised events such as the meal & the breakfast (a very nice surprise) as well as the impromptu get-togethers - a lovely balance. The places we visited on the tour were amazing and we found some fantastic scenic routes between campsites. Never having visited this part of France before, we were surprised by how beautiful the whole area was. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the tour & the company of a great group of people, with many laughs along the way. We look forward to the next one !

Robin and Marion, Cumbria

Thank you for the opportunity to join a group and travel on the continent. It was our first time and we needed confidence to do it again for ourselves. Sue & Colin were great tour leaders and helped all of us along in some way shape or form. The notes that were provided regarding routes, stop off places on the way and points of interest at each venue were comprehensive and optional so we could choose to do nothing (shelter from the rain!) or go off visiting as the fancy took us. We have made some good friends who we intend to keep in touch with.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Nigel & Sue, North Yorkshire

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Can't think of anything that would improve it.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Tom & Ang, West Yorskhire

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip , both Colin and sue were great tour guides, very approachable and nothing too much bother so are to be commended. Would we use you again .. most definitely !!

Karen & Bryan, Cambridgeshire

This was our first time in the Motorhome abroad and with Crossings. Just want to say a big thank you to Colin And Sue as they were fantastic tour guides and nothing was too much trouble for them. We have met some amazing people in the group and we’ve had a memorable time we will definitely look forward to booking our next tour with Crossings.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Andrew & Sue, North Yorkshire

Tour was very good, and tour leaders Sue and Colin, excellent as usual...the tour took us to places that enabled us to visit specific locations we wanted to go to, so in that sense very much a success.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Andy & Cath, Bristol

This was our first time motorhoming in Europe so we are so glad we chose to book with Crossings.
From the tour leaders to the choice of sites and locations everything was first class and exeeded our expectations. Our tour of Lake Garda - we could fill pages suffice to say it was amazing and unforgettable.
The organisation from the literature sent beforehand to the sites booked in advance is great with easy to follow maps, instructions and help on hand throughout. All of the tour guides were professional, friendly and helpful especially Gary and Ellie who worked their socks off getting the campsites organised for our arrival and much more. Also Bob and Wendy who were always on hand to help and encourage us. It was also great to share our tour and meet with other motorhomers all of whom we would love meet again on our travels.
Thanks Crossings for introducing us to Europe and we cant wait to return.

We were very happy with the trip and the way you run it. I can not think of anything that would improve it because to us it was perfect. I am happy to leave a review, is there a link you want me to follow or just email it to you. Thank you once again for a great trip.

Andrew & Val, Lancashire

The tour was totally fantastic, a few reasons. One, because the group were brilliant to be with, and of course our favourite tour leaders! But also the many places we stayed at, we enjoyed it all. I feel this tour could easily be 25 days, stay a little longer on some sites and maybe drive down and stay in Alps nearer the Gorges-du-Verdon.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Sue & Tim, Dorset

We have just come back from the Provence and Ardeche tour and I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous time we had. Ian and Linda were great tour leaders and we really enjoyed ourselves.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Nigel and Karen, Lincolnshire

As you know this was our first trip to anywhere in Europe in the motorhome and we must say that Linda and Ian as tour leaders were absolutely brilliant, they kept us informed each day of where we were going and what to expect and also gave us great information on places to visit en route and from campsites. Each evening they were available for any questions we had. We visited some beautiful places and have lots of wonderful photographs. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip with your company and other guests and looking forward to our next one in September 2025.

Dewi and Pat, Gwynedd

We have have recently returned from an absolutely fantastic Crossings trip to Tuscany & Rome. It was my husband`s first time driving abroad & I am disabled, so we were both rather nervous. However, our tour guides, Andy & Rebecca, soon put us at our ease. They were always so cheerful, informative and supportive that we were able to enjoy all the amazing scenery everywhere we visited. We were also free to explore on our own if we so wished. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather & a friendly& helpful group of fellow travellers. We loved every minute of the tour and hope to travel with you again soon. Thank you so much.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Sandra and Pete, Bristol

We thoroughly enjoyed our first tour with you, the tour leaders were brilliant and the sites were great. The get togethers were great and the tour meal a good opportunity to talk to the others.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Jill and Sue, Lancashire

As this was my first Crossings tour I was really impressed with Linda and Ian as they couldn’t do enough for me and my sister. They are excellent group leaders so thank you ever so much to them. The trip was fantastic, the group meal was good and I will definitely be doing another Crossings tour.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Andy and Meg, East London

Now that we are back in lovely British weather we can really reflect on a superb time on the Rome / Tuscany tour. The weather was very good to us , even too good sometimes. We really appreciated all the work and planning that went into preparation of the trip. Great campsites, everyone. It took a while to get used to the idea that our place on the site would be ready for us and that Andy & Rebecca would be there to guide us in, every time. Andy & Rebecca were great “ babysitters “, always being available and always helpful. After our cab battery died that were a great help, as well as helping find a camping chair for us. It’s been christened the A&R chair. Although we were the oldies on the trip, we felt we managed it well enough to do another! But which one? Thanks for a great trip,

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Rod and Kim, Somerset

It was a fantastic tour that included so many lovely famous places and some lesser known but very spectacular towns (some of which we visited between site stops). The sites might not have been all 5 star but were all in great locations to visit the local attractions. In summary a great three country tour, fab tour leaders, visiting some amazing places and a tour we would have no hesitation in recommending.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Susan and Trevor, County Durham

May we start by saying what a fantastic time we had during our tour, an experience we will carry for the rest of our days. Firstly a big thanks to Linda and Ian, they couldn't do enough for all the members of the tour, from sorting issues with pitches to providing information on local sites and services. When issues of a more personal nature arose, they were quick to deal with them and sensitive to people's feeling. The information provided on the sites by yourselves and the guides helped a great deal and we are not sure who provided these but the passes provided for local travel helped immensely when getting around. The coach trip to Geneva was brilliant as the coach Driver went above and beyond taking us to other locations on route and not just to the centre and back. Finally, a big thanks to the rest of our tour party for their, friendship and company during the trip, everyone worked together sharing information and experience to make sure no one was left struggling in any way throughout the tour. For yourselves we would not hesitate to attend one of your tours again.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Val and Andrew, Lancashire

We have had the most fantastic time on this tour, it couldn’t have been better. From start to finish everything was just great. We’ve absolutely loved it. This is our second tour with yourselves and I can’t praise it enough.
Linda & Ian have once again been absolutely brilliant. Anything at all and they are on it, anything that needs nipping in the bud is done with much care and respect. I was in need of a tin of tomatoes at the end of the tour and was asking my friend for some, next moment Ian was there with some, such kindness and awareness of his fellow motorhomer’s is amazing. I feel this level of care and safety for people on the tour is above and beyond any other tour company.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Geoff and Alison, Cheshire

An excellent trip giving us the opportunity to see and experience some beautiful places and scenery, the entire trip was well planned from the start of the holiday through to our departure at Calais, friendly and knowledgeable tour leaders who were also very helpful.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Andy and Carol, West Yorkshire

We really appreciate the hard work Ian and Linda put into making our tour work. They were friendly, approachable and polite, quick to give us advice and detailed information on each site and town.
We like the whole Crossings tour ethos where you guide us throughout the tour from start to finish. We won’t hesitate to book a tour with you again in the near future.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

David and Maria, Staffordshire

An amazing tour, good people and good tour leaders, lovely sites and destinations.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Simon and Linda, West Midlands

What an experience, great locations great people and the safety net offered by Debbie and Gwyn was invaluable. Debbie and Gwyn were very approachable and available to give advice and suggestions.
Nothing prescribed it was our trip to do as we wanted. This was our first trip abroad in the motorhome. So, a little apprehensive. Having someone at the end of the phone, should we have any problems was a real benefit. That combined with all the site bookings were handled by yourselves, left us to enjoy the trip without having to think about these things. The driving distances were good for each day and the sites were all good. Overall an excellent trip. Looking forward to the next.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Rob and Chrissie, Cornwall

Firstly, a huge thank you for arranging the trip; we thoroughly enjoyed it. We found merits in every stop and will enjoy reliving the experiences through the thousands of photos we took. We found the group very sociable and have made friendships which we hope will last beyond the tour. We thought the travelling days were about right and really enjoyed the extra day available to explore Aosta. The Roman architecture was brilliant and it gave us a chance to rest up before the busier roads around Milan. The scheduling which made the Aosta to Peschiera leg a Sunday was inspired, the lack of lorries on the road made the driving much easier and we arrived relatively fresh. Providing us with the Lat and Long coordinates for each destination was very useful. The facilities at each site varied but were generally good and we would use most if not all should we plan our own trip to the region.

Last, but by no means least, special mention has to go to Gwyn and Debbie who did everything they could to guide us through the trip. I would say it was the right level of supervision whilst allowing us the opportunity to learn and experience the trip to the maximum level. We were a very sociable group and enjoyed the wine and cheese evening, another nice touch.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Ann and Martin, West Yorkshire

We enjoyed the tour very much and having thought about it and had discussions, the only thing we would change/request would be to spend a bit longer in Strasbourg. Otherwise it was all good for us. Thanks for a great trip and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Aaron and Frankie, South Yorskhire

We have both had an absolutely amazing time. We loved every minute of the tour and both Gwyn and Debbie went above and beyond at every opportunity to make it a memorable trip. We have made some amazing memories and seen some brilliant views and places. We have made some good friends and had good laughs all the way through the tour. The only recommendation we could make and this is nothing to do with the quality of the tour is the possibility of a dog friendly tour as we did miss not having our dog with us.
But we would highly recommend crossings to anyone and we are happy for you to use this as a review if you would like to. Thank you for the trip and a big thank you to Debbie and Gwyn they have definitely done "Crossings" proud.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Carol and John, Dorset

We had a marvellous time. The group were such a jolly crowd and Debbie and Gwyn are great tour leader. Thanks v much.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Nigel and Liz, Pembrokeshire

Gwyn and Debbie were brilliant tour leaders and were always on hand to help everyone on the best places to visit along the journey. Crossings is a fantastic company to travel with as you have taken all the stress of the holiday in organising the ferry and campsites. First Class experience. Thank you very much.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Ian, Lancashire

I would like to say I had a fantastic holiday on the tour meeting many amazing people and places, and especially the job Gwyn & Debbie did as tour leaders...I will certainly be looking into booking another tour with you sometime in the future.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Lynne and Nigel, Essex

Once again we had a fabulous time on tour. The sites we visited were in great locations and all of a good standard. Our hosts were always on hand if needed and really helpful and accommodating. We had a great time.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

David and Janet, Rutland

We thoroughly enjoyed the BP&V tour and until we get home and start sorting the hundreds (possibly thousands) of photos it all seems a bit of a blur - we keep having flash backs to places we visited and the people we met but it’s quite jumbled up - another travel photo book will be required. You hosted us so well getting us to all the right places to make it such a memorable trip/adventure - thank you both so much.

Some of the highlights for us include: Excellent city centre sites that enabled us to make the most of our time visiting major cities; The pre-arranged bus trip to Cesky Krumlov - a great place that we could have so easily missed out; The full group evening meal and then the Lake Balaton breakfast were both great occasions; Making the most of difficult situations on some sites due to the adverse weather conditions - you calmly took the hassle away for everyone to get on with their time on site.

This was our 3rd Crossings adventure and this time everyone in the group all seemed to gel very well which was so good - not saying that the previous 2 trips weren’t fantastic because we made some great friends, but this group all seemed to mix so well together all the time.

So thank you both once again. We’ve had an amazing adventure with less than a week to go and we couldn’t have done it without you - nor would we have wanted to. Happy travels and hope to see you again soon.

We thought the travelling days were about right and really enjoyed the extra day available to explore Aosta. The scheduling which made the Aosta to Peschiera leg a Sunday was inspired, the lack of lorries on the road made the driving much easier and we arrived relatively fresh. Providing us with the Lat and Long coordinates for each destination was very useful. However, we got off to a bad start at Little Satmar with the SatNav trying to take us down tiny lanes. The short lane from the main road to the site is thought to be too small for a van, it may be worth mentioning this is the Pack part 2.

Little touches such as pointing out the guest card in Riva, showing us the Railway Station in Peschiera were brilliant and typical of their helpful hints and tips. We were a very sociable group and enjoyed the wine and cheese evening, another nice touch.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Ron and Jill, Dorset

We have only had our van for little over a year so are relatively new to motor homing and wanting to do some trips in Europe, we thought that the best way to start would be to go on an organised tour. We decided to go with Crossings and would 100% recommend them. We had an amazing time. Bob and Wendy were great leaders and looked after the whole group so well, always there with information, help or advice as needed and when we had a problem with our van their support was invaluable. We wondered what it would be like being part of a group but it was great. Although we were all from different backgrounds and ages etc. the group gelled really well and was always fun to be part of.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Sally and Geoff, West Yorkshire

The first thing I should say is how lucky we were to have Debbie and Gwyn as our tour leaders on our first Crossings outing. They were there to help, advise and generally guide us through the different journeys and sites which made us feel very looked after.

Mike and Judy, Warwickshire

The Budapest, Prague and Vienna (BPV) trip was our second tour with Crossings and what an adventure it was. Led ably by Bob and Wendy, they proved again to be professional, knowledgeable, informative and fun.
As promoted by Crossings, the BPV tour was indeed 'exciting and adventurous' with a fantastic mix of capital cities, atmospheric towns, scenic rivers and relaxing lakes. All the spectacular locations and campsites were fabulous but what really made the tour was meeting and enjoying the friendly company of everybody else in the group.
Looking forward to the next tour with Crossings!

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Andrew and Alison, Vale of Glamorgan

The initial attraction for us was the opportunity to travel further afield with some additional support without being overly organised - and this is exactly what we got. The support both before and during the tour was excellent and pitched at the right level. The planned route and campsites were great and the company of others was an added bonus. The highlights of Budapest, Prague and Vienna were supplemented by visits to a variety of interesting places. We would not hesitate to book another tour with Crossings.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Susie and Mike, Oxfordshire

To sum up, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Baltics Tour. It was with some hesitancy that we booked as we do not normally ‘do’ organised group tours, but we mingled as and when necessary but there was no problem keeping ourselves to ourselves when required – no one took offence. So, thank you very much to ‘Crossings’!

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Sue and Dave, Lancashire

The trip was brilliant! We both really enjoyed it. Eleanor and Gary were super team leaders and were a pleasure -as with previous trip a credit to the company. Camp sites were varied and far better equipped than we thought they would be. As per last trip would have loved more time at the stops and especially a a stop on the run from Tallinn to Riga as the coastline was beautiful and lots of exploring was possible .
Really enjoyed the opportunity to see wildlife and the trip was very varied and interesting. The Baltics have some great bird life. We both enjoyed the mini cruises too. We didn't realize how many places of interest there would be on route from place to place. We could only scratch the surface. You never knew what you might find, We followed a sign and ended up in a forest where there had been a concentration camp and its history was laid out in a series of monuments. There were so many places like this. Quite extraordinary! It was in most cases easy to park up at chosen venues in a motorhome. The other campers on the trip were a lovely bunch. The trip was a really good adventure . Thanks again for another great trip.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Kevin and Julie, Gwent

The Baltic trip was fantastic with just the right amount of driving between the various destinations. Having the route and campsites arranged for us made the whole holiday stress free while at the same time giving us the freedom to do what we wanted without having to worry about what the other group members were doing. Eleanor and Gary were amazing as 'leaders' keeping us fully informed without being in any way intrusive. As you know we realised early on in the holiday that we wanted to do another one and booked the Croatia trip for 2025. Congratulations on coming up with such a good concept!

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Jane and Tony, Berkshire

The Baltic trip was fantastic...Eleanor and Gary are really great tour leaders - just the right amount of input and help, and such good fun. As you know, we love the light touch of Crossings Tours.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Laurie and Julie, Essex

We very much enjoyed the Taster Tour and would be very happy to travel with you again. Sue and Colin were excellent hosts - very knowledgable and calm. Our Co-travellers were a mixed bunch, but all very friendly, which added to the trip.

We thought that the sites chosen were well placed for the routes and that the facilities offered were all of a standard matching our expectations.

As newbie motorhomers we came looking for a trip to give us confidence to try countries we had not visited before and to give us experience for trip/route planning/site choices that we can use in the future. All our expectations were well met and we had a fabulous holiday. We think that you gave us enough organisation to take the strain out of planning, but not so much that each party’s holiday couldn’t be completely individual.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Dick and Jo, Hertfordshire

We had a very good time on the Taster Tour.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

John and Jackie, Somerset

We would like to thank you all at Crossings for a really enjoyable tour. One of our highlights was the Netherlands, what a beautiful country with so much to see and such nice people. This is definitely somewhere we will visit again.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Michael and Jean, Staffordshire

Would we tour with Crossings again? Most certainly.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Karen and Eric, Solihull

Overall, we had a wonderful first time experience in the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. Easy, straight roads that were mostly empty of traffic – certainly in the Netherlands, built confidence in the driver. Tour Leaders Colin and Sue were there, on hand, for everyone and almost all campsites had everything you needed. Thank you Crossings Motorhome Tours.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Paul and Heidi, Warwickshire

Thank you so much for making our first trip into Europe so enjoyable and so easy to do. We will highly recommend Crossings Motorhome Tours to everyone we can, and we look forward to booking trip number 2 with you in the near future. Please pass on our huge thanks to Sue and Colin your fabulous tour leaders for our trip. Paul and Heidi x

We had a fantastic time seeing Places that we normally wouldn’t go to …
It was very comforting to be with like minded people, especially as it was our first time in our motorhome abroad. Colin and sue were excellent always happy to help with suggestions or coordinates, or where the nearest supermarket was. It was pleasant to drive to our campsite and just park up.
Overall a very worthwhile experience.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Pete and Roz, Gloucestershire

Sue and Colin were excellent Tour guides and very patient with us all. We appreciated the sites which had good public transport links with the main towns and cities that were close by.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Sue and Graham, Hampshire

Sue and Colin were excellent and considerate hosts and guides and were very informative. Sites were all of an excellent standard, and the WiFi puts the British camp sites to shame!! All in all it was a very enjoyable and enlightening trip to some very attractive countries that we have always wanted to visit. We have fun celebrating your 10th anniversary and wish Crossings many more. Please pass on our thanks Colin and Sue as well.

We enjoyed the trip and the group was good fun that we were with...Slovenia, Austria and Croatia were all spectacular scenery and friendly people.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Geoff and Alison, Cheshire

A really enjoyable tour with a good variety of locations so there was something for everyone from stunning scenery to culture in a holiday that covered from the coast of Italy to beautiful Tuscany. Great tour hosts, nothing was too much trouble and fellow tour members all helped to make it a very memorable trip.
Wishing you continued success.

It was a great tour...the pictures in my mind will last a lifetime. Thanks to you and Bob for your care and leadership. Here's to the next one...We saw some excellent scenery, drove some fabulous roads, visited some amazing places and, as always, met some great people. Thank you both.

Nigel and Sue, Yorkshire

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. It totally exceeded our expectations. Gary and Eleanor were brilliant tour leaders. They were welcoming, funny, knowledgeable and patient! The organisation was superb. We have made new friendships and the trip has given us memories we will never forget. Every aspect of the whole holiday got 10 out of 10 from us from start to finish. We are keeping our fingers crossed that you get a cancellation from someone booked on to the La Garda trip next September! We will definitely be recommending you to our friends and other motor homers who we meet on our travels.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

Janet, Surrey

Once again Crossings is superb! Wendy and Bob are brilliant in their friendly communication and meticulous planning. Eleanor and Gary as tour leaders were knowledgable, informative, supremely helpful and great fun! I travel as a solo motorhomer and novice driver in Europe, but always feel utterly safe and totally supported by the Crossings team. They use their massive experience to perfect tours according to customer need. Meeting all together in the UK before the ferry journey is the jewel in their glowing crown.
Needless to say I have booked again with Crossings for next year! Can’t wait.

gordes-533375_1920.jpg

We arrived home safely after the most fabulous tour and we were sad when it came to an end. Gary and Eleanor were great tour leaders and we felt they did a fantastic job of organising everyone. All of the sites were as described and in the most part very good. The detailed routes were excellent and we saw some beautiful countryside as well as the motorway!! The weather was great, and we have made many new friends, looking forward to touring with you next year.

Thank you for having such a wonderful tour in your portfolio. I can honestly say what an experience this was for me. Gary and Eleanor were absolutely wonderful, a fantastic asset and advertisement for Crossings.
Their friendly and professional approach shown through at every interaction. Being a solo traveller with no experience in travelling in Europe with a MH nor indeed a group, I had no idea what to expect. Once I had met the group at Little Satmar, I could tell everyone was very like-minded, so it did not take long to become comfortable with everyone. The tour was superb and flowed very well in its route. Went off piste on a couple of occasions and found some sleepy villages stopping for lunch etc. All in all a great memory for me.

We both had a delightful holiday and very much enjoyed the routes and the majority of the campsites.
We were fortunate to be travelling alongside a great group of fellow "motor-homers". Gary and Eleanor are perfect tour leaders, always helpful, friendly and enthusiastic; never interfering just adding useful suggestions, they got the balance just right. We definitely recommend Crossings Motorhome Tours and would be happy to travel with you again in the future.

Thanks for ensuring our first Crossings tour was such an enjoyable adventure. The Tuscany tour was a fantastic experience and one for many reasons, we'll never forget. Of course, it was made even better by all the fabulous people on the tour!

It was a special group that did the Tuscany tour. With the group leaders as well the whole experience was a joy and memorable. The stay and the area around Annecy was a very pleasant surprise. Although not Tuscany we both enjoyed the day in Annecy and the boat trip. The site at Pisa was great for visiting the city ... three nights is good to explore. The trip to the Cinque Terre was an amazing wow factor. The journey over the Alps pass was a highlight and recommend that it should be travelled on any tour to Tuscany.

Sue and Colin were absolutely wonderful, always smiling and available to help with advice, routes, places to visit, the best ways to get places, pitching, site facilities …. the list goes on, we couldn’t fault them and their commitment to making this holiday the best it could be for all of us travelling with them.

We enjoyed the detour to Annecy and both trips across the Cenis Pass immensely. We were surprised how busy all the campsites were and grateful that all the pre-bookings worked well. We thought the balance of the tour was right with a visit to Vada on the coast a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of Pisa, Lucca and Florence. We particularly enjoyed San Gimignano, Muriel's favourite on the tour. The Cinque Terre scenery was spectacular and glad we were able to visit all five. We found some splendid scenic drives on back roads to the campsites in both Italy and France. All the campsites were fine, some noisier than others, but we expected that in busy urban sites. We liked the change of campsites on the return journey in France, and driving the back roads too, meant it did not feel like the tour was ending until we arrived in Northern France. Socially, we found it very nice with a lovely friendly group of fellow travellers. We have taken home a lot of fine memories, even the sausage and chips pizza!

The support with organised taxis, buses, coach etc. was invaluable as it made for some great outings whilst on the tour. Colin and Sue worked hard to make sure everyone was okay and knew what was happening and what they were doing, their advice was invaluable. We loved the extra boat trip they organised, and the bacon breakfast for everyone to enjoy, was a nice touch. Thanks to Colin & Sue and yourselves for another well organised and enjoyable tour.

Overall as newbies we found the sites/ visit suggestions/mileage/itinerary to be excellent hence already signing up for the BP&V trip.

Looking back we really enjoyed the tour and it met if not exceeded our expectations. It included all the highlights of Tuscany and was well balanced with not too much driving on any day.

We have no comments with the main part of the tour (Slovenia and Croatia) or any of the campsites used throughout. All well structured and planned out. Colin and Sue were professional, attentive, informative and available, as always. Thank you to them for making our travels memorable.

1907 miles later, I think the tour was just about right and deserves to be repeated without change. The quiet Sunday at Geneva gave a chance to catch our breath and the supermarket was open in the morning for those who needed it. The two bus trips were a welcome chance to explore with someone else driving.
Taken overall, no change would be our view.

Our first trip with Crossings and we were made to feel very welcome by Bob, Wendy, Andy and Rebecca who made sure things ran smoothly, nothing being too much trouble.

We had a fabulous holiday with Crossings MTL in the French and Swiss Alps and have already booked to be with you for the trip to Croatia and Slovenia next year. Highlights for us included the organised coach trips into Annecy and Geneva, the mountain trips up Harder Kulm and Schilthorn Piz Gloria and who could ever forget the experience of the 1.5 miles being swept along in the river at Bern. We also did so much cycling, both into Geneva and Strasbourg that we each lost a little weight on the holiday! Crossings made the trip very easy for us, notably the channel crossing, checking in to campsites, the team get-togethers and the wonderful comradery with our fellow travellers, many of whom we do intend to stay connected with.

We had a great trip and really enjoyed ourselves. Great organisation and we loved the vip treatment on arrival at the campsites, all of which were great choices. There was a good balance between feeling part of a group and doing things ourselves. We were impressed by your efforts to support a group member who was taken ill. Very much looking to our next trip with Crossings next year.

Just to let you know we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. All our fellow travellers were superb and everyone mixed well. For me I think the trip could've been three days longer so we could have had more one night stops to cut down on some of the longer distances, but that was a minor issue. We must thank Gwyn and Debbie for there input - they were fantastic what a 5 star couple.

We only have good things to say about our trip to Lake Garda. Everything was very well planned out and communicated. The information you include in your tour packs is second to none and I am certain it is a big help to everyone that joins one of your tours, even the ‘seasoned’ travellers that come back for more fantastic trips with you. Gwyn and Debbie did a fine job and if we had not been told, we would not have realised it was their first trip as tour leaders/guides. Many thanks for the lovely trip

We are so glad that we came across your company whilst visiting the NEC last October. Your core values and concept appealed to us, hence the trip to Lake Garda. The tour pack and offer of a complimentary overnight stopover in Folkstone set the tone for the tour. We thought the route and campsites were well planned, as they allowed an opportunity to walk into the town at the end of each day’s motoring. In an ideal world a couple of days in each stopover would be great, but accept this may not be possible for a variety of reasons.

Had we not been told, we wouldn’t have known that this was their first trip as tour leaders. Debbie and Gwyn were organised, professional, approachable, friendly, helpful and thoroughly nice people. They worked very well as a team. Their invitations to a get together for everyone at Beaune and a final drink on them at Guignicourt was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The tour pack was very useful.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending your company to others. We have yet to look at next years tours – you never know, we may join you again!

Our experience of the Idyllic France tour, was absolutely superb. We have nothing but praise for Ian and Linda, who made the whole holiday a stress free joy. We booked the tour with you as this was going to be our first time in a motorhome into Europe and being new to motorhoming, the comfort of having experienced motorhome guides along with us was a great comfort. The sites were of a good standard, a couple had cold showers early morning but they were all clean. A major booking point for us is good quality showers/toilets.
Ian and Linda truly were excellent guides, nothing was too much trouble and they regularly were out and about checking we were all okay. When problems arose they were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
We certainly will be recommending the tours to friends and people we meet at other sites in the future.
So, did we gain the confidence to go it alone, certainly, will be booking with you in the future, certainly.
Thank you for the meal and the Coronation drink,

1) Tour Leaders Linda and Ian were marvellous. Very professional, approachable and calm. Absolute gems and they easily found a resolution to any situation i.e. the meeting camp site waterlogging . Both very knowledgeable.
2) Camp sites. Apart from the effect of the weather on the first two camp sites we found them all to be great with suitable facilities and we found lots for us to do and see at all the camp site stops.
3) The route gave a good variety of French landscapes and of the country. In an ideal situation we would of liked a little longer at some of the stops especially after a long drive but I suspect we are being greedy.
We had a great time and looking forward to the next.
Many thanks

We had a fantastic time on the Croatia and Slovenia tour - Eleanor and Gary are great tour leaders - soft touch, good fun and useful information. The campsites were all good, some were absolutely superb; the route took in some magnificent scenery, both toll and non toll (our preference but not always practical).
There was something interesting to see and do (and eat and drink!) at all the stops. We loved Plitvice (even in the rain), Ljubljana (great that the bus went from right outside the campsite), Lake Bled, the Adriatic coast, Pula (the amphitheatre was amazing), Gmund, Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb (but disappointed so much was closed as Sunday or for restoration) and so much more. It was a great introduction to Slovenia and Croatia - we have not been there before but will go back, and we enjoyed re visiting Austria and we will also go back there to see more. The group was lovely and the dynamics worked better than the other trips we have been on. Not sure why this was but probably down to one or two members who worked hard to organise get togethers and Eleanor and Gary who just let it be! Made friends for life.

Just a note to say we had a really good time on the Lake Garda trip, it was very well planned and the information provided was very detailed and useful - especially for our first time in Europe in the motorhome. Gwynn and Debbie were excellent guides and were always around to answer questions and provide information.

Mario and I enjoyed the tour to Slovenia and Croatia, I thought Eleanor and Gary were good tour leaders, helped and supported by Rebecca and Andy, whom I’m sure will be good tour leaders on future tours.
We obviously can’t control the weather but all in all it was good.We visited places one wouldn’t normally know about or stop at due to good tour guides. I particularly liked Slovenia, lake Bled and especially the capital city. Look forward to future adventures.

Thank you to you and your team for all your help guidance to ensure our safety and plan such an amazing trip.

The camp sites we stayed on at both Lake Garda venues were particularly outstanding. Both in situation and views.
