NORTHERN SPAIN & PORTUGAL

New for 2026, the tour starts with a pleasant drive down the Atlantic Coast of France with stop-overs in the Loire and BordeuxBordeaux regions before we cross the Pyrenees into Spain. We spend time in some of Northern Spain’s most beautiful towns and cities including Pamplona, Burgos and Salamanca with our end point being the world-famous Santiago de Compostela – the end of the St James Pilgrimage route. In Portugal we head for the coast close to Porto. The lively ‘old town’ rises into the hills on both sides of the Doura, spanned by the famous two-tier Dom Luis Bridge. We then pick our way across the entire beautiful and varied northern coastline of Spain with the chance to visit some of the smaller villages, towns and bays along the dramatic lush coastline known as “Green Coast”. We visit the stunning Picos de Europa mountains before our final stop in the beautiful city of San Sebastian/Donostia. From here we head back through France on our route home.

Payment of the deposit secures your place on the tour.
Please note that the deposit is non-refundable except in the event that we cancel your tour. -
Please note we cannot take vehicles over 8 metres long or pets on our tours.

We do not accept any form of towed vehicle.

We use P&O Dover-Calais as standard on most tours. Return dates are flexible for up to one year.

If you have any mobility issues, please check with us before booking. On some tours you may experience uneven ground or sloping sites and there may be steps into toilet blocks, which may be some distance from your pitch. Campsites may be located a short distance from the local attractions or public transport routes. As a rough guide, we recommend that you are able to walk a kilometre.

If you have any dietary issues, please let us know when booking. Group meals are to a set menu.
However, we can accommodate special dietary requirements.
